Department of Political Science

The Department of Political Science of Aronai College, Kokrajhar, affiliated to Bodoland University had its inception since the establishment of the college itself in the year 2013. The department offers both Honours and Elective courses in three year degree courses and also has provision for teaching in Higher Secondary level. The department offered Honours course from the year 2017 for the session 2017-2018.

         The department is committed to give students quality education and persistently works to achieve its goal for the interest of the society. The teachers of the department are actively engaged in academic pursuits and are very much cooperative with students. At present two Assistant Professor are actively engaged in the Department-

Objective

The basic objective of the department is to impart quality education on the courses provided and offered by the college to achieve the above mission mentioned. The course is designed to provide an in-depth study of the Political Science of our country as well as of other countries.
