The ARONAI COLLEGE, Kokrajhar was established on 13th January 2013 through a resolution No. 3 adopted in a public meeting held at Bedlangmari, Kokrajhar under the presidentship of Shri Hagrama Mahilary, the Ex-Chief of Bodoland Territorial Council. The huge gathering of intellectuals felt the necessity for opening of a Degree College in the name and style of “ARONAI COLLEGE, आर’नाइ फराइसालिमा”. The College is located at Dimalgaon, Kokrajhar, 1.1 km away from Bodoland Territorial Council Secretariat. Presently, the ARONAI COLLEGE is affiliated to Bodoland University and is running Four Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP) under NEP 2020. The College is also recognized under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act. 1956 vide no. F. No. 8-123/2022 (CPP-I/C) dated 30 August 2023.
