The seminar was presided over by Sri Meher Daimary, Principal, Aronai College, Kokrajhar. At the outset, the Principal welcomed all the members present in the seminar. Mrs. Nijira Basumatary, convener discussed briefly about the topic which was presented. All the faculty members and B.A/B.Sc final year students were present in the seminar. The speaker discussed about the economically important plants of BTR and related how the cultivation of some economic plants can withstand the economic problems of the family. He also explained how a person can become financially sound by agriculture rather than depending solely on job. The talk was followed by a floor participation. The speaker answered the questions asked by the faculty and students. Really the seminar was a grand success.
